Requesting a Supplier
Requesting a supplier is how you get one of Malovex’s supported suppliers connected to your account. You pick the supplier from the catalog, supply any credentials it needs, and the Malovex team sets up the live connection for you.
Submit a request
Section titled “Submit a request”-
Open Suppliers and find the supplier you want. Any supplier you’re not already connected to shows a Request access action.
-
Select Request access.
-
Provide credentials if asked. Some suppliers need an account, API token or feed URL to fetch your feed; the form lists exactly what’s required. Required fields are marked, and password fields can be revealed with the eye icon. Suppliers that need no credentials show a simple confirmation instead.
-
Submit. The supplier moves to Requested and the Malovex team is notified to provision your connection.
Once the connection is live, the supplier’s badge becomes Connected and the first sync begins. See Connecting a Supplier for what happens after that first sync.
Tracking your request
Section titled “Tracking your request”The supplier’s Access badge in the catalog reflects where your request stands:
- Requested — your request is in and being set up.
- Connected — the feed is live and syncing.
You don’t need to do anything while a request is being set up. If a supplier needs more information from you, the Malovex team will reach out.
Feed limits apply Starter and up
Section titled “Feed limits apply ”Every request counts toward your plan’s supplier-feed limit, and so does every feed you already have connected. If your active feeds plus pending requests would exceed your plan, Malovex blocks the new request and tells you the limit’s been reached.
- Starter Starter — up to 3 feeds
- Pro Pro — up to 15 feeds
- Enterprise Enterprise — up to 100 feeds
To connect more suppliers than your plan allows, upgrade or add feed capacity.
